Jamie Jacobson Counseling
M.S., Professional Counselor Associate
Supervised by: Candace Walters, LPC, CADC I, ACS
and Lisa Ladendorff, LCSW
Life transitions, anxiety, depression, and unresolved trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. As a Professional Counselor Associate accepting new clients, I provide a supportive, collaborative space where healing can happen at your own pace. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma recovery, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, drawing primarily from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help clients process painful experiences, reduce emotional distress, and build lasting coping skills. I also integrate CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and IFS-informed approaches to support meaningful change and deeper self-understanding.
For clients who connect with creative expression, I may incorporate music and the arts into therapy as additional tools for healing and growth. Together, we will identify strategies that fit your unique needs and help you move toward greater balance, resilience, and connection.
